Present day America but when your character walks out their door they won't see the world you see today. America has fallen and although it's slowly rebuilding itself it has a long way to go. You have quite a few options here. You can be a resident of Riverside or a resident or Birchwood. If you're not a town resident you might be an orphan, an addict (of anything from sex, drugs, or rock n roll.. haha?) or an alcoholic patient in the rehab, or a mentally unstable patient in the asylum. Not a patient or a towns person? You could be an employee at Birch Haven; anything from a doctor, therapist, psychiatrist, or security guard. Anything you think fits is taken into consideration! We encourage creativity and new ideas!
This is a literate forum with a strict 300 word count, expected proper grammar and spelling (although we completely understand the occasional slip ups), and a forum filled with contests and prizes, of the month polls, and a staff team that likes to get opinions from the members before making any big changes. You'll also find a large list of canon characters, short and long application options, wanted ads and plot pages, and members who are always more than eager to plot and role play. You won't ever feel left out! There aren't any closed groups or cliches of friends. Sometimes I'm afraid the current members will scare the new members away by over loading them with plots and wanting to role play haha
WELCOME TO AND YOUR HEART'S THE MOON!

Winter is on its way out and Summer is quickly approaching. You can feel the heat crowding the air. That doesn't mean it's hot enough to strip down to bathing suits and go diving into the lake because that might make you end up in the hospital with a really serious cold. However it is warming up and clouds don't crowd the skies as often, but you are in Washington so it isn't like a cloudy day in the summer is unheard of. Just be ready to pack away those big heavy jackets and boots and start yanking out those flip flops and shorts!
